Polypropylene Rope Introduction:

Polypropylene rope (or PP rope) has a density of 0.91 meaning this is a floating rope. This is generally manufactured using monofilament, splitfilm or multifilament fibres. Polypropylene rope is commonly used for fishing and other general marine applications. It comes in a 3 and 4 strand construction and as an 8 strand braided hawser rope. The melting point of polypropylene is 165°C.

1. The structure of mooring rope can be divided into 3-strand. 6-strand, 8-strand and 12-strand.

2. Diameter scope: Ф6mm ~ Ф140mm

3. Raw material: polypropylene, polyester, nylon, High Molecular Polythylene (UHMWPE), aramid fibre and synthetic fibre.

4. Characteristics: high tensile, low stretch, anti-friction, corrosion resistance, soft and smooth, easy to operate, etc.

5. Usage: mainly used in shipping equipment, fishing industry, port operation, ocean transportation, electric construction, oil exploration, national defense and sports goods, etc.
